Go
Global is run and owned by Carlos Huerta, whose success in real estate
can be attributed to the training afforded to him by some of the more
experienced brokers, salesman, and companies in the Las Vegas market.
Carlos also credits his education as a valuable training ground for
his profession. Huerta received a graduate degree in Business, with
a concentration in finance from the University of Miami in the early
nineties. He was a four-year letterman, MVP of a National Championship
Football Team, and was elected a 1st Team Academic All-America selection
his senior year in college, while graduating with honors from the University
of Miami.
Huerta
first came to Las Vegas in early 1994 when he then realized that the
Las Vegas Valley would be the place to establish a career in real estate.
The lessons that he has been able to apply from his scholastic and professional
career are being parlayed nicely in his dealings. His client base has
expanded considerably, now having dealt with clients as diverse as publicly
traded corporations operating locally in Las Vegas, Reno, and Henderson,
Nevada, as well as local and national level investors and development
companies.
Huerta
began his career in real estate as a land specialist seeking out investment
and development opportunities with a focus in the North Las Vegas area
and in the Southeast area of the Valley (Henderson). Today, he holds
a corporate broker's license and has an excellent grasp of the commercial
real estate market in much of Las Vegas, as well as a thorough understanding
of demographics in the Valley and of the more successful developments
in the Valley. Finding real estate investment opportunities for personal
development and management, private investors and large corporations
eventually tied into Huerta's ability to analyze the profit potential
on many different projects and to gauge the risk exposure of each investment.
Companies in which Mr. Huerta has either invested in, developed for,
or brokered real estate to, include Richmond American Homes of Nevada,
Capital Pacific Homes, DR Horton, World Premier Investments, Oasis Destiny
RV, Fletcher Jones Mercedes and Lexus, Centex Homes, NewMark Merrill,
Metro Development, Merlin Entertainment, The Paglia Companies, The Shepherd
Eye Center, Buffalo Wild Wings (bw3), and Chevron Products Company.
Mr. Huerta's investors range from local physicians and professionals
to investors overseas in England, Mexico, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills,
New York City, Miami, Florida, and Israel.
The majority
of Mr. Huerta's investments in real estate involve buying specific properties
within the Las Vegas Market and then either developing them, marketing
to his list of specific clients, for joint-venture development (in order
to produce income-generating assets, which can be held onto for investment
purposes or sold for profit).
Huerta's
largest project, to date, is a 1,300-acre Master Plan community off
of Interstate 80 and Vista Boulevard overlooking the entire City of
Reno and Sparks.
